The Chebacco Tax Valuation List of 1800 contains a list of resident taxpayers with the number of polls, real and personal estates. Listed separately are residents of Gloucester, Hamilton, Manchester, and Wenham & Beverly who owned property in Chebacco.

The quantity and value of real estate are itemized by buildings, bushels of grain, tons of English hay, tons of fresh and salt hay, cow rights, cords of wood, barrels of cider and pounds of flax, and total value of real estqte. It is not clear whether the quantity of production means that production capacity by land type or use, or actual production from that land. Personal estate is itemized by quantity and value of cows, 3-year olds, 2-year olds, horses, colts, swine, grain, hay, ounces of (silver) plate, tons of shipping, and value of money at interest, money on hand, public secutities, stock in trade, and profits from trade or handcrafts.

The tax list was transcribed by Paula Stephens, and edited by Kurt Wilhelm, using the original tax lists and photocopies of it.

The first page, lists the value of the various items of real and personal estate.
