  City of Lowell GIS Map: Search by address within city maps and learn information about the address location.

City of Lowell official web site: Includes information on all Town Offices, as well as information about community events, history and museums to visit.

Office of City Clerk : The city of Lowell has kept records at City Hall back to the early 1800's. Visit the site to find where to write for copies of official certificates of vital records.

Pollard Memorial Library : Established in 1844, this library offers a wide variety of programs and has an excellent section on local history and genealogy including Massachusetts Vital Records tan series books, local newspapers, city directories, local histories and some obituary indices.

Lowell Historic Board : Includes photos of Lowell from years ago, places which were demolished and photos of areas which have changed drastically. This board concerns itself with preserving the history of Lowell, and the site also includes information on sites on the National Historical Register

Lowell Historical Society : Site includes a year by year history of the city, as well as hours and directions to the society, membership information, gift store information and upcoming events.

University of Massachusetts Center for Lowell History :  Amazing online databases of records from Lowell's past. Includes employee records of railroads, photographs from multiple collections, cemetery projects, school records, bank records, maps, vital records, and so much more. Visit the site to see how much is already online, or to find location and hours for in-person research at the Mogan Center. Site includes an incredible list of online resources for Lowell and the surrounding area.

Lowell Genealogy Club website : site includes a map of the Lowell area, and a complete list of mustered Civil War soldiers. You will also find a wide range of links to other resources available online, including information available on the LDS genealogy web site, and online books, as well as book available through various sources, about Lowell genealogy.
