"Br to By" coming soon These records contain (in most cases): Name, Date and Place of Birth , Date and Place of Death, including Cemetery Are you having trouble determining which War an ancestor may have fought in, check out our link American Wars Death records now on line: You can search by surname for death record from Tewksbury Hosptial from 1854 through 1905 click here to go to the Tewksbury Hospital Website Civil War Soldier Records on-line A small group of volunteers have transcribed the 4 volumes that contain the 3525 names of the Soldiers and Sailors Mustered from Lowell that served in the Civil War (1861 to 1865). Many of these men are from Lowell and the surrounding towns. They are listed alphabetically by surname. Update - July 30, 2006 - additional information for James Riley, Michael O'Riley/Riley, and Daniel Fitzpatrick, provided by Pamela Elkas of RI.
