    In Salem, Mr. William Russell, to Miss Rebecca D. White.
    In Dedham, Mr. Ellis Rhodes of Walpole to Miss Caroline P. Rhodes, of D.
    In Cambridge, William P. Wheeler, to Miss Margaret P. Hunnewell, both of C.
    In Boston, Mr. Cornelius Mahony to Miss Mary M. Driscoll.
    In Providence (R.I.) Rev. Samuel B. Shaw, to Miss Caroline F. Jones.
    In Jefferson, Maj. Charles I. Stuart to Miss Eliza Austin.
    In Raynham, Mr. Lewis Washburn, to Miss Eunice Leonard, both of Middleborough.


DIED
    In this town [Concord], on Thursday last, Miss Elizabeth Hosmer, aged 47. Funeral from the house of Francis Jarvis this afternoon at four o'clock.
    In this town, Mr. Luther Moore, aged 24.—Abiel H. son of Mr. Thaddeus Balcom, aged 3 years.
    In Lexington, on Thursday morning last, Mr. James Smith, aged 31. His death was occasioned by the lock jaw, caused by his receiving a wound in the cords above the heel by a knife used in cutting turf.
    Drowned—at South Boston, on Sunday last, Mr. Joseph Hill of New Hampshire—supposed to have fallen overboard in a fit.
    In Waltham, Benjamin G. Smith, jr in the 9th year of his age.
    At his seat in Roxbury, James Perkins, Esq aged 61.
    In Northborough, on the 22d inst Mr. Thaddeus Fay, aged XCI, being the oldest male inhabitant of that town. His descendants are four children, forty-four grand children, and sixty-three great grandchildren—in all, one hundred and eleven souls.

DIED
    In Acton, Joseph Noyes, Esq aged 44—Mr. Noyes possessed the confidence and esteem of a numerous circle of acquaintance. He discharged with much fidelity the important duties of the various offices which he held in the town. By his death an aged father, a widow and eight children are called to mourn the loss of a dutiful son, an affectionate husband, and a kind parent.
    In Philadelphia, 23d ult Mr. Wm. Lawrence, aged 38, formerly a merchant in Cambridge, Mass.
