   The death of Stephen E. Griffin, an estimable resident of Ward Three, occurred yesterday afternoon at his late home, 159 Lincoln street, at the age of 65 years. The deceased was a native of Galway, Ireland and came to this country 45 years ago and to Lowell a quarter of a century ago. He was employed most of the time in the tannery at his trade of currier. He was an esteemed member of the Immaculate Conception Temperance Society of Belvidere, and of the Arch-Confraternity of the Sacred Heart church. He is survived by a wife and two married and three single daughters. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at nine o'clock from the Sacred Heart Church.

Funerals
   The funeral of Thomas Martin, infant son of Robert and Mary Martin, occurred Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his parents' residence, No. 275 Broadway, and interment was in the Catholic Cemetery.
   James McAnanee, a former resident of this city, died at Nashua the first of the week, He was 59 years of age, and the body was sent to this city Thursday and interment was in the Catholic Cemetery by J.F. O'Donnell.
   The funeral of Mary Catharine Barry, daughter of Michael and Bridget Barry, occurred Friday afternoon from her parents' residence at Manning's Place off Salem Street. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery by Undertaker O'Donnell.

   The funeral of Frances O'Hara, the seven months old child of Thomas and Ida M. O'Hara, took place at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from his parents' residence on the Boston Road in the rear of Edson Cemetery, and interment was in the Catholic Cemetery.
   The funeral services of Mrs. Bridget Coleman were held at nine o'clock Friday morning at the St. Peter's Church, where high mass was offered up by Rev. Father McManus. Singing was by the regular choir under the direction of T. F. Molloy. There were many beautiful floral pieces. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery and Undertaker McDermott had charge.
