| Christopher Daly and Thomas Kilkenny were arrested by officers Tilton and Whitney for bathing in the Wamesit canal without proper garments covering them. They were fined $2 each. |
| Ledgan Lavergue pleaded guilty to charges of unlawfully taking a horse and carriage and with drunkenness. He was fined $15.00 |

| James Lynch, aged 67 years, a well known resident of Ward Five, died
last evening at his home, 82 Common Street. He leaves a wife, three
sons and three brothers. |
| Lizzie O'Connor, aged 20 years, daughter of Patrick and Agnes
O'Connor, died yesterday at her parents' home, 4 Varley Avenue. |

| At the meeting of the United Foresters Sunday afternoon John P. Boyers, the popular chief ranger of the Court City of Lowell, was chosen grand marshal of the Foresters field day parade. |
| Miss Myrtie Robinson observed the fifteenth anniversary of her birth last evening, and entertained a party of young friends, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.O. Robinson, 7 and 8 Merrimack Corporation. Refreshments were served during the evening and there was vocal and instrumental music. |
