Funerals
   DONOVAN—The remains of the late Edward R. Donovan were consigned to their final resting place in the Catholic cemetery yesterday afternoon. The funeral which was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends of the deceased took place from his late home, 14 Stevens street.
   The bearers were John B. Crowley, John A. Walsh, Dennis Long, Frank Sherwood and Frederick and John Pilling. The ushers at the house were Edward Coffey, James Holleron and Milo Hale.
   Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery where Rev. Fr. Walsh conducted the committal services at the grave.

Donovan; spray, Avery Marshall; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sladen and family; spray, Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Paterson; wreath, John Hyland; spray, John and Joseph Farrell.
   Undertaker Peter H. Savage had charge of the burial.
   EWINGS—The funeral of Luther B. Ewings took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from 3 Astor street. Rev. Dr. Martin conducted the services and there was singing by Edward Wirt. The bearers were James and Alexander Whittet, Mr. Morris and Mr. Tinker. Burial was in the Lowell cemetery. Undertakers Young & Co. had charge.
   CAMPBELL—The funeral of the late Frank C. Campbell, the unfortunate young man who met his death by drowning in the Charles river last week, was held on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of his parents, 2 Branch street, and was largely attended. Rev. George F. Kenngott was the officiating clergyman and there was singing by Mrs. J. W. Greig and Mrs. W. H. Hervey. The bearers were P. M. Lederman, W. J. Vining, Bert Vining, W. P. McCann, A. J. Milroad and G. A. Campbell, the latter three members of the Waltham Canoe club, of which deceased was a member. Burial was in the Edson cemetery. Undertakers Young & Co., had charge.
   DUCKWORTH—The funeral of Lawrence B. Duckworth was held Saturday afternoon from the home of Mr. Samuel Jones, 21 Watson street. Services were conducted at the house by Rev. N. W Matthews. Burial was in the Edson cemetery. Undertaker Weinbeck had charge.
   DEAN—The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah Dean took place Saturday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. H. Barrow, 69 Sutherland street, and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
   Rev. Orville Coats of the Fifth Street Baptist church officiated and his remarks were full of sympathy and consolation.
   There was a profusion of beautiful flowers from relatives and friends. The bearers were her four grandsons, Charles E. Dean, Thomas Dean, John M. Dean and Ernest Dean. Two very appropriate selections were beautifully rendered by Mrs. W. O. Mayberry and Miss Bertha Leet. Undertaker Currier had charge of the arrangements.
   O'NEIL—Joseph O'Neil aged 10 months, child of Charles J., and Margaret O'Neil died last evening at the parents' home in Clark's Court, off Lawrence street. The funeral took place this afternoon and interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Burial was in charge of Undertaker T. J. McDermott.
