Woburn Journal, 14 April 1905

On entering his house, 30 Houghton Street, last Sunday afternoon, Mrs. James Nolan found her father, Mr. Michael Harkins, dead in his chair. Medical examiner Blake pronounced it a case of heart failure. The deceased was born in Ireland 64 years ago.

Officer Barry and an unlicensed banana peddler played tag the other day. It was hard to determine who was IT as the peddler escaped arrest, but Barry got the bananas and created quite a sensation as he pushed the banana cart down the avenue with impressive official dignity.

O'HEARN — The funeral of the late Patrick O'Hearn took place from the funeral parlors of Funeral Director Charles H. Molloy this afternoon at three o'clock and was largely attended by relatives and friends of the deceased. The bearers were Messrs. John, John Jr., and Michael O'Hearn and John Manchester. The interment was in the Catholic cemetery where the committal prayers were read by Rev. Fr. Walsh of St. Patrick's church.
