TUESDAY EVENING FUNERALS
O'NEIL—The funeral of Mrs. Mary O'Neil took place this morning from her late home, 74 Weed street at 8:30, and was largely attended by relatives and friends. The cortege proceeded to the Sacred Heart church where a solemn mass of requiem was sung at 9 o'clock by Rev. Fr. Cronin of Dorchester, Mass., Rev. Father McDennott, O. M. I., deacon, Rev. Fr. Wood, O. M. I., sub deacon. The choir, under the direction of Mrs. Adelaide Muldoon sang the Gregorian mass, and as the body was being borne from the church, the choir sang "Deo Profundis." Among the many beautiful floral tributes were a large pillow inscribed "Mother," from the family; large standing cross inscribed on base "Grandma" from Leo J. Crowley; wreath inscribed "Grandmother" on purple ribbon from grandchildren; wreath from Miss Mary Dugdale; wreath from Mr. and Mrs. John F. Webster; wreath from a friend and several large bouquets from friends. The bearers were William H. Murphy, John Harrington, John O'Hearn, John Dilworth, Martin Hanebury, and William Cronin of Boston, Mass. Internment was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Rev. Fr. Cronin of Dorchester, Mass., Rev. Father Flynn, O. M. I., and Rev. Fr. Wood, O. M. I. read the committal prayers. Funeral in charge of Undertaker Peter H. Savage.
