Funeral services for Arthur Coughlin, one of Arlington's oldest residents and holder of the Post cane, were held yesterday morning from his late home, 54 Norcross street, and were followed by a solemn high mass of requiem in St. Agnes church. Interment was in St. Paul's cemetery. Mr. Coughlin, who died on November 5th, was born in Ireland but came to this country when he was a young man and has lived many years in Arlington, where he was a respected citizen. He brought up a large family and besides his children is survived by thirty-eight grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
