FINED $200 FOR SELLING LIQUOR
John Cronin was fined $200 in district court this morning when found guilty on a charge of illegal sale of intoxicating liquor at his place of business in Church street on June 4. Capt. James J. Kennedy, head of the police vice squad, testified that evidence of a liquor sale was secured when the Cronin store was visited by police. Judge Frederic A. Fisher gave Cronin a week to make a down payment of $50 on the fine, with the promise that he would be given additional time to pay the balance.
