February Meeting

February 10, 2007

Topic: Basics and Brickwalls, Part II, Family Names being Researched and Your Success Stories

Speakers: Members of SSGS

1:30 p.m. John Curtis Free Library, Rt. 139, 534 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA (781) 826-2927

It is the hope that in our January meeting we helped to address everyone’s brickwalls and research questions and/or problems. In the event that there were some questions left unanswered, or needed more research, we will start the meeting by addressing such issues. Certainly if new questions or problems have come to light since our last meeting, we will attempt to answer any of the new questions.

What family names are you researching and in what localities? Could your fellow member be researching the same family name? Are you researching in the same localities as another member? Let’s share this information. Someone may be doing some research and may stumble upon something that will help another member.

While it may seem that there are always brickwalls in our research, we all know that we have all experienced success. Let’s share those successes. One person’s success can be another’s motivation to continue the search for the “holy grail” of family genealogy.
