Overcoming Brickwalls

Has your research come to a standstill? Are you having trouble finding additional records for your ancestors? Were your ancestors "dropped by aliens" or did they vanish into thin air? If you have encountered any of these situations or are at a loss as to where to look next, this lecture is for you. Marcia will cover new ways to look at the research you have already done, discover new avenues for records and methods for overcoming obstacles to your research. Looking at the data you have accumulated in a different way often presents clues that you may not have seen before. Have you truly exhausted the information you already have for clues or have you overlooked important facts. Come and learn some new tricks to jump-start your research and get you on the right track.

Marcia is a professional genealogist and published author. Her books include The Genealogist's Handbook for New England Research (Fourth Edition), The Weekend Genealogist and The Genealogist's Question and Answer Book.
