All service in Lincoln County, Maine

September 16, 1777 to October 8, 1777

Lieut. William Nickels' Company, Col. Benjamin Foster's (Lincoln Co.) Regt. marched to Machias on alarm of British ships in the harbour.


October 23, 1777 to December 6, 1777

Capt. Jabez West's Co. expedition against Nova Scotia and continuted in sevice to defend Machias.


August 7, 1779 to September 7, 1779

Capt. John Hall's Co., Col. Benjamin Foster's (Lincoln Co.) Regt. Marched on expedition to Majorbagaduce, by order of General Lovel.


March 14, 1780 to May 5, 1780

Capt. Henry Dyer's Co. of Rangers, Raised for defence of eastern Massachusetts by order of Col. John Allen, commamding officer at Machias and Superintendent of the Eastern Indian Department.


October 27, 1780 to November 9, 1780

Capt. Daniel Sullivan's Co., Col. Benjamin Foster's (6th Lincoln Co.) Regt. Company ordered by Col. John Allen to protect inhabitants of Frenchman's Bay.
