I wanted to access the file to determine if the information might pertain to my ggg grandfather and grandmother, John William TAYLOR and Sarah WARD(TAYLOR). It did not contain any information about them. I am in desperate need of locating someone or some group who might be able to locate my family records in Allegany Co.. Maryland. That location is >the birth place of John and Sarahs' children(Elizabeth,George and another daughter Unknown Name. I have had no success in obtaining their birth records or information about John or Sarah. If you have any advise or links to that area, would you please advise. I am such a novice at searching I overlook many obvious things, but after checking with the Allegany Co. courthouse and the local librarys and what online index I can find, I still have had no luck. I tried to request a search of archival records in Baltimore but could not get past the phone list of "press this or that number for" phase. No person ever answered! I am open to suggestion.
