I am trying to identify the father of Job MATTHEWS (MATHIAS). Job was born between 1768 and 1778. His mother's given name was Susanna who apparently married 3 times. Her first marriage was probably to Job's father, the second to an ANDERSON, and the last to a Thomas COOLEY in Nelson Co., Ky in 1793. Job and his mother moved to Nelson Co., Ky abt 1790 from the Allegany Co. area. Job married Priscilla DRAKE on 31 Dec. 1793. He later moved to Muhlenberg Co. Ky and finally to Warrick Co., IN where he died 27 April 1852.

Elizabeth FISHER married Joseph RIZER 31 May 1827 in Allegany Co., Maryland. Do any FISHER researchers have any information on her parents and siblings?

Joseph and Elizabeth FISHER RIZER seem to have remained in Allegany County for about a decade. Then they moved to Tippecanoe Co, Indiana. A decade after the move tragedy struck the family. Joseph Rizer died about July 1843 and his wife six months later probably in Jan 1844. Five or six children were left orphaned.

I believe that some of the FISHER family may have also moved to Tippecanoe, but have not pieced together the relationships. As I am preparing the RIZER Family book, I would appreciate hearing from anyone with data on this family.

Allegany Co., MD - - Looking for information on Margaret OWEN(S) (b. 1791-1794, d. 1847-1850). She was married to Zacheus (Zachariah) LUMAN. They lived in Cumberland Valley Twp., Bedford Co., PA and might possibly have come from Allegany Co., MD, or Margaret may have been from Fulton Co., PA. We think Margaret had a brother, William (b. 1780-1790) who we found in 1830 and 1840 censuses living in the next dwelling to Margaret and Zacheus LUMAN in Cumberland Valley Twp.

I am looking for Christopher ENTLER, who married Mary SCHMIDER (SMITH or any variation on that name) sometime in the 1800's. They had four daughters by the names of Edith, Lena, MaryJane, and Ann Lavern and I think they had a son who died in infancy. Mary died when Ann Laverne was 8 months old and they where sent to a Catholic Orphanage/Convent. All the girls have passed away with Ann's death in March 1996. Christopher had a brother by the name of Fred, but I have no idea if he had any other siblings. They lived in Echkart, Maryland.
