I am looking for any info. that might be available, on the old Liberty Tavern that was located somewhere in Downtown Cumberland. My grandparents, Charles and Gladys WHETSELL were owners/managers there. I would love to hear stories from anyone that might have known them,or might have eaten at the Tavern.

Searching for information about my Maternal Grandfather's family. He was Fred Edgar GREEN b 5/24/1889 d 4/19/1970. I believe he was raised in Moscow, Maryland. Father Charles A. Mother Sara Elizabeth (Green they were probably some kind of cousins) She was born 1863 and they were married 6/21/1885.

They had several children besides my Grandfather-Gertrude 1887?; Cecil; Ralph who wandered in and out of the area during my childhood and Ira who was married to a Bessie.

Other than this information I can't seem to find anything much going back--I think Charles parents were Isabel (CLARK) and Robert Green but have been unable to find out anything about them or his siblings.

On WARNICK and CUMMINGS I have a lot of information on WARNICK thanks to Walt Warnick and some information on CUMMINGS. My Paternal Grandmother was a CUMMINGS and there are so many that without some clues I have hit a wall? Lastly, on the WARNICK'S I have for many years been searching for a cousin Richard (Buddy) who as a baby disappeared with his mother Mary. We did not even know what her maiden name was and she may have changed their names. Richard would be in his 40s now and I would just like to tell him about how much his Grandmother loved and worried about him. Any help would be appreciated. Would be glad to share the information I have when I get it in order. Thanks.
