I seek genealogical information about John KENNEDY and/or Caroline (BLISS) KENNEDY, parents of James L. KENNEDY, Sr. (JLK). JLK was born in Pittsburgh, PA, August 1906 and died August 2002. His birth certificate is unofficial, so that it lacks any address information, etc. Reportedly, both parents died during the influenza epidemic of 1919 -- presumably they died in Pittsburgh, but this is only a guess. The Allegheny Division of Vital Records can provide no information regarding death or marriage of Mr. & Mrs. John KENNEDY, based on information provided.
I would be most grateful to acquire information (e.g., such as ab obituary notice) for Caroline Kennedy who died in Wellersburg on January 25, 1919. According to the death certificate, her residence was 311 Fourth Avenue. Thank you for your kind assistance. Best regards, Jim Kennedy

I am trying to get information on my great-great grandfather Winfield Scott HOOD. He was born in Maryland in 1871 and married a Flora Alice Foster BLOCHER. They had 3 children: Charles, Lillian and Alice. Winfield Scott HOOD died in 1930 and is buried in Philos Cemetery in Westernport, MD. Flora died in 1959 and she is also buried in Philos cemetery. I would like to find out who Windfield HOOD's parents were. My grandfather was Charles Percy HOOD and he married Mary Ellen HARRISON. They also are buried in Philos Cemetery.

I just received my gr-grandmother, Mary V. McMULLIN, death cert from the state of MD and now I need to find her parents. The father is John JORDAN born in MD, the mother is Jane CLISE born in MD. Mary's husband John Robert McMULLIN was the informant and he says his wife was born in MD but on many of the census it says she was born in PA. The McMULLIN is sometimes spelled McMullen/McMullan/etc. Do any of you have info on these people?

Seeking information on Carl MARTIN, known to be living in Cumberland, MD, in November 1943. His wife, the former Frances BROWN, died in the 1920s. He was reportedly a commercial painter. He had several children, including Virginia MARTIN, born 10 July 1921 in Junction, Hampshire County, WV. She died 20 March 2002 in Cumberland. She was estranged from her family, and never spoke of them. We are attempting to locate any of her sisters or brothers, or their descendants. We believe that descendants of Carl MARTIN still live in the Cumberland area.
