They were married in Cumberland,Allegany Co.,Md. on 11/29/1855. During their lifetimes they lived on Washington Street in Cumberland. They are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery. Searching for article/s on the death of Edith Lockhart DOBELL who died in 1940 while performing for the Keystone Modern shows as a tightwire walker in Cumberland, Maryland. I have an article on her death but there is no dates in or with the article. Her and her family was from Vermilion County, Illinois. DOBELL may have been the stage name. Her married name may have been MCMASTER. Her husband's name was Fred. At the time of her death she had a 6 year old daughter named Helen. What happened to the husband and daughter? I would like newspaper articles and her death certificate, anything related to her death and what happened to her family. I would gladly pay for anything available.
