I am seeking any information in regards to Rosamond/Rosemond Long of Allegany County, Md. I found him in the 1800 and the 1810 census in the Georges Creek area. Does anyone have any information about his family? This has been a brick wall of mine for a very long time.

My great grandmother, Matilda Elkanah ROSS BARRY, was the daughter of Mary Ann TIGHE and Elkanah Grafton ROSS. Her parents were never married. Matilda was born on Dan's Mountain and I believe she grew up on "Miller's Farm" on Route 36 just outside of Midland. Does anyone know where Elkanah Grafton ROSS lived and died? And, does anyone know where Mary Ann TIGHE is buried? She died 31 July 1910.
