1. Capt. John WORTHINGTON was born in 1650. He was a grantee of a deed in 1686 in Anne Arundel Co., MD. He signed a will on 4 Apr 1699 in Anne Arundel Co., MD. He died on 9 Apr 1701. He had an estate probated on 7 May 1701 in Anne Arundel Co., MD. He was buried in Annapolis, Anne Arundel Co., MD.⁽¹⁾

Sarah HOWARD (daughter of Matthew HOWARD Jr. and Sarah DORSEY) died on 21 Dec 1726. Capt. John WORTHINGTON and Sarah HOWARD had the following children:
