Caroline County, Maryland
Maps
Over the years more counties
came into existence changing the boundaries. For instance, on December
30, 1637, Kent County was formed from original colonial lands. Then, on
February 19, 1661, Talbot County was formed from Kent County. Later, on
April 9, 1706, Queen Annes County was formed from Talbot County. Finally,
Caroline County was formed from Queen Anne, Talbot, and Dorchester counties
in 1773. Perhaps, you will find further data from current Caroline County
neighboring counties. Note, the eastern boundary of Caroline County is
the Delaware state line. After a survey (year?), the Delaware/Maryland
state line was moved west into Maryland. Hence, your search may include
Delaware.
