The 6th Maryland Infantry Regiment Monument ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Several Companies of the 6th Maryland Infantry were composed of soldiers from Cecil County.  No monument has ever been erected for the 6th Maryland Infantry and the Sixth Maryland Regiment of Infantry Descendants Association is working to have a monument erected.  If you are interested in helping to support this effort, please see the attached document or contact David Jones.  A rendering of the monument is included in the Press Release below.
