Help the Anne Arundel County Genealogical Society Locate These Cemeteries!

We need your help finding these cemetery locations that we have heard about and sometimes have
copied information on but have no definitive locations.  If you have any helpful information on these

Bascom Cemetery – supposedly connected with a church yard and somewhere near Edwards Chapel Road
(location unknown).

Merritt Family Cemetery – within Baltimore-Washington International Airport borders near Fort Meade Road
on the property of Chester Merritt (1950’s). Also Cole Family Cemetery (copied) on current airport property.

Collison Farm Cemetery – on farm of Newton Collison, near Mayo. Surrounded by a fence from 1817-1895.

Union Church Cemetery – across the road from the former church location.

“Tudor” graves-at the “Tudor” estate, owned by several generations of the Hall family.

Unnamed cemetery near Pasadena Road across from a housing development, near Lake Waterford.

Brock Bridge Road Cemetery – about ½ mile from Rt. 175, family plot.

Melvale Cemetery – was in Glen Burnie area.

Tubbs Cemetery – was in Glen Burnie area.

Wade Family Burying Ground, was in the Glen Burnie area.

Harman Family Cemetery – on a farm in Harman’s Station Single grave (copied) at top of a hill surrounded
by large fieldstones. Reinterred at Glen Haven Cemetery.

Harman Family Cemetery – near Woodwardville, in the Hanover area.

Stinchcomb Grave – near Persimmon Point.

Robinson Cemetery – at “Thicket of Pines” at the Robinson Hunting Lodge (probably before 1942 in the Severna Park area.)

Hopkins Cemetery – off General’s Highway in the Crownsville area.

John Hammond Grave – at “Mountain Neck”, 3 miles from Annapolis between the railroad ans Severn River (1.5 mils from
the former and 0.5 miles from the later) on a farm owned by Reve. H. Best (1855).

“The Pound” Cemetery – probably on the property “of the Province”, a 66-acre tract containing ½ acre graveyard, patented
to Richard Bear as part of his warrant of 4,000 acres (1686/1687).
