The Coalition is pleased to

The day – from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. – is planned to be educational,
interesting, fun, and full of collegiality!
Two speakers will share their
expertise at the meeting.
David Zinner,

provides
educational resources on Jewish burial, mourning and cemeteries, will
speak
about
strategies to protect istoric Maryland burial grounds.
Susan Lenz, a creative fiber artist, will
show and talk about her art quilts
hat combine grave rubbings with vintage
household items through meticulous
hand and free-motion embroidery; her
presentation is entitled “The Cemetery in Stitches”.
The day also includes
opportunities to present issues and discuss concerns,
a short business meeting
and election, and a delicious lunch.
Our
silent auction will feature an art work by Susan Lenz
and a variety of other
items and the gift shop will be open for business.
Deserving volunteers will be honored with the
coveted Periwinkle Award.
The day ends
with a special tour of the 200-year-old Brick Church and the parish
cemetery.
