Spring Book Sale

This Saturday, May 31, 2014, stop by the Oxon Hill Library for the Spring Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Oxon Hill Library. The book sale starts at 10:00 a.m. and will close at 3:00 p.m.

If you have some old books (paperback and hard cover), magazines, CD's, DVD's, children's books, books for teens and young adults, books and other materials for seniors, and books and materials that will appeal to various other cultures, then drop them off at the front desk at the library and tell the library staff that you have a donation for the Friends of the Oxon Hill Library Book Sale.

We thank the Oxon Hill Community for its continued support to our group as we strive to support programs and activities for all who visit the Oxon Hill Library.

See you at the library this Saturday!

Special thanks to the Oxon Hill Community

Once again, we would like to thank all within and around the Oxon Hill community and those community partners who provided support and donations toward our Silent Auction that was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. The Friends of the Oxon Hill Library were very proud and honored to meet everyone who participated in the event and are sure that our "Home for the Holidays" event, featuring pianist Al Davis was enjoyed by one and all. There were lots of wonderful items donated for the event.

Special thanks to the Oxon Hill library staff for their assistance in making this event a success!

Thanks again to all of our local community partners and donors who provided donated items toward this event. See below for a complete list of the 2013 contributors.
