Kudos to the Oxon Hill Community
Once again, we would like to thank all within and around the Oxon Hill community and those community partners who provided support and donations toward our Silent Auction that was held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. The Friends of the Oxon Hill Library were very proud and honored to meet everyone who participated in the event and are sure that our "Home for the Holidays" event, featuring pianist Al Davis was enjoyed by one and all. There were lots of wonderful items donated for the event in which over 60 percent of the items available were purchased by those who made bids. Since there were quite a number of items that were not purchased, soon there will be a link provided for those within the community who could not attend the event but have a desire to bid on an item in support of our drive to sell off all of the items donated.
Special thanks to the Oxon Hill library staff for their assistance in making this event a success!
Thanks again to all of the local community partners and individuals who made donations toward this event. Click below for a complete list of the contributors.
