Eligibility for membership in Auxiliary Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

1. Women with lineal or collateral descendency from a Soldier, Sailor or Marine regularly mustered and honorably discharged from the Army, Navy, or Marine Corps of the United States of America during the War of the Rebellion 1861-1865. The daughter, grand- daughter, great-grand-daughter, niece, great-niece, etc. qualify.

2. A mother, wife, widow or daughter of a member of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War in good standing, not associates.

3. Associate Memberships: Available to women who do not qualify through heredity, and demonstrate a genuine interest in the Civil War and can subscribe to the purpose and objects of the Auxiliary.

4. Junior Memberships: For young ladies of not less than eight (8) years of age.

We encourage you to express pride in your heritage or share your genuine interest in the Civil War.
