My ggg grandparents both lived in Prince George's County, MD.
He was William REYNOLDS (b: 1760), son of James REYNOLDS & Rebecca Jane SIMRED. She was Nancy Ann GRIFFITH, daughter of ??? William & Nancy were married on Dec. 5, 1777 and their marriage is recorded on p.147 in the marriage license book for 1777-1801 in P.G. Co., MD. Wm, & Nancy's children were: Anna (REYNOLDS) DRURY, Caleb REYNOLDS, Larkin REYNOLDS, Wm. G. REYNOLDS, Jr., Priscilla (REYNOLDS) DRURY, Eli REYNOLDS, M.D., Charles REYNOLDS, and my gg grandfather, James REYNOLDS.
Any information on Nancy Ann GRIFFITH's ancestors would be greatly appreciated. All I know of her is that her ancestors hailed from Wales in the 17th century, that she was born in Anne Arundel Co., MD, near Cheasepeake Bay, and that she lived in AA Co. until maturity. Sometime after Wm & Nancy married, they moved to Washington Co. Penns., as much of their children were born there.
I would also like to know if anyone can tell me how I can access a copy of p.147 in the marriage book for 1777-1801. So far I've not had any success with that. I'm hoping that entry may list Nancy's parents' names.
Thank you! Nancy Weitemeyer (nee REYNOLDS)
