Hello, I have just completed a geneology of the YOUNG family of colonial Maryland. I am still trying to learn more of this family - where did it come from in England, what is their history in England, etc, etc. The family is the family of Notley Rozer YOUNG of Prince Georges County. Well, so far I have managed to gather a rather extensive bit of information on Notley. What I would like to know is more about his origins. His father was Benjamin of Cerne Abbey Manor, P.G. Co. Md. I do know that Benjamin YOUNG came to Md. in 1700 and that his son Notley's home was called Nonesuch Manor, also in P.G. County. Thanks for your assistance.

I have had the worst time in finding anything out about my great-great-great grandmother, Permilia CARRICK. What I know is that she married Benjamin OGLE of "Belair Plantation" Bowie, Maryland, Prince Georges County, in 1837, she was born in 1813 have no idea where and can't find a record of her death. Her husband Benjamin committed suicide in 1839 at his father's land known then as the "President" I believe that was in Anne Arundal Co., Maryland. Benjamin came from a prominate and old Maryland family, unless she was a black sheep why then no info. on her. After Benjamin's death Permilia seems to have vanished. Any information would be much appreciated.
