I recently found out that Dorcas CLARK's parents were Benjamin CLARK and Mary Wish Bone-a local Indian maiden. Any ideas? Benjamin died in 1803 and married Rachel CHANEY (after Mary Wish Bone) in March of 1788. It is speculated that Benjamin and Mary Wish Bone had seven children including Dorcas CLARK, born 1770. Benjamin is related to Elizabeth DUVALL and Abraham CLARK. Elizabeth is Mareen the Emigrant's daughter.I am not sure what tribes of Indians were in PG Co at that time. I believe that the Potamacks were but am not sure. Did you ever run across the name Mary Wish Bone before? Thank you!

He baptized a son William in King George (St. John's) Parish on 14 Feb 1768, and he was enumerated in St. John's Parish with wife Jane and three small sons in the census of 1776, two houses away from his uncle Edward JANES. By 1778 he had moved to Loudoun Co. VA, where he resided until moving to KY in 1796. I will be grateful for any information or leads to published or online sources about this early PG Co. family.

My Thomas TUCKER was born in MD, moved to VA where he married Elizabeth COLEMAN in 1800, and then moved on to Kentucky ca 1808. Elizabeth also was born in Maryland.

I am interested in the ancestors/descendants of Thomas BURCH and Suzanna TALBOTT, who married July 26, 1780, in Prince George's County. I believe their children were: Jonathan BURCH, b. October 27, 1782; Cassandra BURCH, b. August 4, 1785; Thomas William BURCH, b. February 9, 1789; Roseanna, b. February 14, 1791. In particular, does anyone know who Suzanna's parents were? Maybe Paul TALBOTT?

I have been attempting to identify the parents of William Joseph RISDON, born March 3, 1831 in PG County. Recently I found a book in the Port Charlotte, FL library genealogy room (limited sources) entitled "Prince George's County Maryland, Indexs of Church Registers 1686-1885, Vol. 2 Protestant Episcopal Church, St. Paul's Parish - Prince George's Parish." This book contained some marriages, births, baptisms, and deaths. I did not find anything on William
