Trying to locate data on Jacob IGLEHEART (elder) and Jane PERRY. Earliest record found in PG Co is 1740 witnessed will of Robert Wheeler, and 1754 land sale. When did he die? His son Jacob died between 1798 and 1799, estate papers document his heirs as his seven brothers and sisters. There is land involved that may well have been his father's, a transaction was made in 1772, so apparently he died before that date.
Have checked "zillions" of passenger lists in effort to find his arrival, before 1740; family compilations say he or father came ca 1710 from England, but have never been able to prove that the compilations are correct. The Igleheart/Igleharts married into the PERRY, DENUNE, LUCKETT, SELLMAN, DAVIDSON,BEAL, CROSS, BOYD, SMOOT, STOCKETT, WHEELER, SOPER, NICHOLS, NICHOLSON, HARWOOD, WELSH families. There supposedly is a Capt. John IGLEHEART buried somewhere in Baltimore County, having died 1733; yet to find this site. There are several of us searching now in earnest for a year, but still cannot locate documentation.

Jan 1868) he "took up a farm at Bladensburg, 4 miles from Washington D.C.", but stayed for only a year or so, probably going back to Derbyshire, England in mid-1881 "leaving all crops growing". I am also searching for BING in Cecil Co. MD. Listed in "Inhabitants of Cecil Co." 1649-1774, is a John BING, 1742, bought "Baker's Addition." Also listed in tax list in 1761 for South Milford Hundred in 1761 and 1766 with a George BING (we have lots of those too).
I'm trying to tie in with John BYNG/BING who was born in Pa in 1773 and moved to MD by 1812.
