I am looking for information on a Nathaniel MAGRUDER who left Md & headed for NC. He is the only MAGRUDER to show up in the NC state census of 1784-1787. My Elizabeth MAGRUDER b. 1781 Martin Co., NC could be his daughter. I cannot find him on the NC tax rolls for this period though. He is on the 1790 census in NC, but not on the 1800.

Does anyone have a Nathaniel that left? The DAR patriot index shows two different Nathaniels, but I'm not sure if he's one of them. Hope he is as his line would already be documented! My Elizabeth married Little BRYAN c. 1801 where?, and died in Macon Co., GA 1854.
