Civil War Lookups

"I am looking forward in helping others with their genealogical ventures.

In my earlier years of research, I originally came across the Roster of
CW Vol. while at the Maryland Archives, I had to have this for my book shelf.
Then I aquired the 1890 Special Veterans Census Index for Maryland and from
that the microfilm for Western Maryland.

From a simple inquiry about a relative that was in the Civil War, I have
been able to find his brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, maiden names,
marraige dates and children birthdays and so on. The catch is, if he
belonged...then what unit did he belong to, here is where I hope to help
others find more clues for their quest."
