REVOLUTIONARY WAR SERVICE
Civil. According to Peden's work on Frederick County (p. 359) he was an Associator in 1775, and a Juror for the Oath of Allegience, 1778.

Military. According to Peden's work on Baltimore County (p. 264), he was a Private in Captain Deams' Co., 7th Maryland Regiment 25 Dec 1776.


BIOGRAPHY
Cornelius Sullivan was born about NOV 1749 in Ireland. He died between 1 and 18 MAR 1816 (dates of his will and probate) in what was then Frederick County, Maryland and buried in Kreider Church Cemetery. He married around 1775 Catherine Bohn, the daughter of Johann Deil Bohn and Mary [--?--].

Cornelius and Catherine had the following children:

On 26 MAY 2007, the William Winchester Chapter, DAR, conducted a grave marking ceremony at the grave side of Cornelius Sullivan. Westminster Chapter SAR attended the ceremony and the Maryland State SAR provided the color guard.
