BLAKE:
I am interested in any information you may have of George W. Blake
listed in some reports of coming from St. George, ME. I believe he was
born around 1858 and married Dora H. Hart of Appleton in 1887. One of
his 5 children, Clarence O. Blake was my father. Any items of interest
pertaining to the Blake lineage would be appreciated. Thank you,
Florence Blake Caron of Massachusetts. BRANN:
Looking for the ancestry of Charlotte BRANN b. ca. 1800/05 St. George (Knox) Maine.
She was married to John Larribee. I think her father's name was John also but not sure.

DRINKWATER/PHILBROOK:
Hi--I am trying to document my Mayflower ancestry. Have gotten as far as
Harriet PHILBROOK who married William DRINKWATER, II ( son of William
Drinkwater I and Lucy Pendleton) and is descended from 7 pilgrims). Their
daughter, Mary Ellen Drinkwater, married my great-great grandfather, Capt.
Nathaniel Lindsey.
The family moved from North Yarmouth, ME to Northport, Isleboro, and
Lincolnville, ME GORDON/ERVINE:
Are there any copies of books, brochures or any other printed materials
written and published by John Shand GORDON? He was my grandfather. HAWKING:
Hello, my name is Angela Hawking. KALLOCH:
An article about Sarah Phinney KALLOCH, (Mrs. Hanse Kelloch), who lived in the St. George area from approximately 1814 to at least 1870 is published in the Stories Section on the St. George USGenWeb page. The piece was originally published in the Summer 2003 edition of CUMTUX, the Clatsop County (Oregon) Historical Society magazine. Sarah was the paternal great, great, great grandmother of Marilyn Morrison who lives in the State of Washington. She would like to know more about her. Click here to read the article.

LEE:
I am looking for the ancestry of Abigail LEE, b ca 1794 [ 1850 census] "of St. George" when she married William ALBEE "Of Boothbay" 21 Sep 1812 in St. George [Vital Records of St George, Maine compiled by Marlene Groves]. SHEERER:
Hello! I'm helping my friend (Beth Waters (nee Sheerer)) research her family tree, particularly her first ancestor in America who appears to have been a Capt. Fred Sheerer (Sherer, Shearer). He came from London around 1850 and resided in St. George. He married Hannah Pease and had children William (postmaster in Tenants Harbor), Lovey Ann, Marion, Rose, Fannie, and Fred. I also believe he may have captained a schooner of his own name. SNOW/WATTS/McLAUGHLIN:
Greetings.
I was writing to see if you couldn't help me trace some family history.
My Great Grandmother was Harriet SNOW WATTS. I know my Great Grandmother's
Middle name is connected to Snow (as a surname). In a very odd turn of events,
it just so happens to be the Middle name I chose for my daughter.
It wasn't until I looked up Hattie's death certificate that I found her middle name was SNOW.
1. The marriage date of George Bickmore b. 16 Apr 1805 and Abigail Yeaton b. calculated 1810 who married about 1828 or 1829.
2. The death date of George Bickmore b. 16 Apr 1805. I have he died about 1838 and was buried in Ridge Church Cemetery in St. George.
3. The birth date of George Bickmore (son of the above George and Abigail) born about 1838.
4. The birth date of Mary Bickmore (dau of the above George and Abigail) born about 1834.
Note: I (Dick Watts) have already sent the following information:
Item 1: No marriage date, but Abigail Yeaton was born October, 1807, and died April 13, 1865. Middle initial W.
Source is "Early St. George Families" provided by John Falla on the St. George USGenWeb page.
Item 2: Death date of George is October 12, 1838.
Source is "Early St. George Families" provided by John Falla on the St. George USGenWeb page.

Note: Linda Webster has supplied the info listed for the 2 Blake families
in the 1894 special town census at the back of the "History of St. George, Maine."
Also, note there is a Hart connection from Appleton, ME, but apparently not St. George.

Thanks for any help or pointers.

Tenants Harbor, Knox, ME Born 14 Jun 1888 Last Benefit: Died Feb 1973
She married Wallace McLAUGHLIN (I'm Carmen McLaughlin) B in 1891.
I'm trying to find out who Hattie's mother was or her father. I have a
Sam Watts some place in there but I am not sure which Samuel Watts it is.
All I know is Hattie's father was a sea captain of some sort in Maine.
She would take trips with him to NY.
Do you have any information that would help?
Thank you for your time,
Carmen.
Note: Christine Rike has sent some Watts info.
Does anyone have any SNOW or McLAUGHLIN info?
Carmen lives in PA.
