Saint George Queries  

DWYER: My name is Dale Pierson and my mother is Shirley Dwyer and her Father is
Clarnence J Dwyer son of William C Dwyer. I know some of the direct
lineage but have very little of the siblings of William Dwyer. I believe
William Clark Dwyer and his wife Nancy Maria Davis moved from Cushing to
Martinsville in 1889-1890.

I would appreciate any information regarding the whereabouts of any burial
sites or any lineage that might exist or contacts of descendants that are
still in the area. I have checked the references I have, Vital records of
Rockland, Thomaston, St George and S Thomaston but they only are helpful
regarding the children of William Clark. Thank you very much or any help
you can be.

EWELL/THOMAS: Looking for any photos of the Wileys Corner area. My greatgrandfather ran the Ewell's store at the corner and my uncle ran the nearby garage.

I'm looking in the 1870-1920 time frame. My grandfather was Ardene Thomas.

My greatgrandfather was John A. Ewell, the owner of the Ewell General Store in Wiley's Corner.

Ardene was a sea captain and married Carrie Ewell, the daughter of John Ewell. Ardene (after his retirement from the sea) and Henry Ewell, son of John Ewell ran the store in John's later years and after his death.

HANCOCK/CRAIG/KENNEY: I am searching my ancestors for information on Nathan Hancock married
Sarah Craig 1784. They lived in Orland, Maine, then moved to St. George 1800? They
had a daughter named Lucinda Hancock born 2/23/1802 who married William
Kenney 1825/6 and died May 1889.

We are looking for either a birth or death certificate or any other
documentation which will show Lucinda to be the daughter of Nathan and Sarah
Hancock.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Galen W Lovitt/Lovatt was my grandfather whose parents were
John Lovitt born Maine or Mass, possibly NH,and wife Hannah Reed.

Known Children Emily b. 1826, John G. b. 1828, and Andrew J.(my g-grandfather) b. 1832 in Bristol. Emily and John settled in Detroit, Maine area. Andrew in Michigan. WALL/ODIORNE: I'm looking for William H. WALL, born in 1852, died in 1923. He was married to Lucy Odiorne, who predeceased him. I don't know when she died or where she's buried. I also don't know who William's parents are- the death certificate says William Wall and Sally, but I haven't been able to find them. He was most likely from St. George. Thanks!
