WELCOME
I'm pleased that you chose this link. This is my "nickel tour" of some of the major landmarks in the Town of St. George.
These pictures were taken during my visit at the time of the Bicentennial in July 2003. If you have visited St. George before, I hope these pictures bring back pleasent memories. Maybe you have enjoyed a Historical Society meeting at the Grange, a service at one of the churches, a walk through a cemetery while doing family research, a musical event at the Odd Fellows Hall, a pancake breakfast at the Tenants Harbor Fire Station, or a sunrise/sunset at Marshall Point. If you are thinking of visiting in the future, I hope you will follow through with your plans.
We will start at the South Thomaston/St. George town line on
Route 131 (River Road)
and head toward Port Clyde. (Reference Map)
