Farnsworth - Ruth Heald Cragin Chapter,
Maine State
Organization Daughters of the American Revolution
invite you to
experience
the largest women's
patriotic organization in the world!
With over 165, 000 members,
nearly 3,000 chapters in all 50 states and 11
foreign countries, DAR has long promoted
patriotism through commemorative events,
memorials, scholarships, activities and programs.
| Exploring
your Heritage? Think you
have an ancestor who may have served
during the American Revolution?
Did
you know DAR accepts proven lineage to
those who served in many
different capacities, including patriotic
and civil service, NOT JUST patriots on
the battlefields! Was your ancestor a
town clerk, selectman, constable or
survey of highways? Did he sign an Oath
of Allegiance? Maybe he was a minister
who gave a sermon supporting the American
cause.
