Details: Trying to find ancesters born in Noumea of Joseph Lacoste wife Elizabeth [nee Wenzel]they had 10 children Blanche, Helen, Marguirette, Edmond, Leon, Rosalie, Elizabeth, Bertha, Charles, Suzette.  Suzette Horriott Lacoste was my grandmother she was born 7/11/1902 in Noumea she was the youngest child.  I have her birth certificate from Noumea.  How can I get in contact with townhall to see if there are anymore certificates belonging to Lacoste family.

Details: I am searching for information on my great great grandfather James SURAH or (SURA).  He was bought to Mackay sometime in the 1800's to work in the cane fields.  James married Agnes Brown on the 11 march 1884.  He gave his birthplace as Colgena, Solomon Islands.  His father's name was Turabel and his mother's name was Tolmon.  He had 7 children - James, Margaret, Mary, Catherine, Isabella, John and Toolmau (known as Annie).  He had a relative who lived in the Solomons (I think this was his sister) named Adele Bella Thunrea.

Frances was probably married in Vanuatu or Fiji to a fellow by the surname WEITZEL. This marriage produced two male children who were probably born in Vanuatu but maybe in Fiji. The eldest boy was Abraham WEITZEL born circa 1903 and the youngest, my father, Eric Francis Sheradon St. Germaine WEITZEL born circa 1909.
The WALL/WEITZEL marriage was dissolved and Frances subsequently re-married a Harry F. KILLICK.
Somewhere in the WALL/WEITZEL years I believe that there was ownership of a beverage manufacturing plant (owned by the WALL side?).
