Go to the lower right panel under Online Services and you will find, among others, the Marriage and Death databases, which are most useful. 

The Marriage search form is:  http://portal.maine.gov/marriage
 
These are the marriage records of Maine 1/1/1892-12/31/1922.  You can search by 
surname(s), or town.  IE: type in Waldoboro only and get a list of all marriages involving persons of Waldoboro married between 1892-1922.  Type in surname as bride or groom and 
get a list of all marriages of people with that surname.
