Robert LEE & Others to Joseph LEE
Executed 23 June 1811

Know all men by these presents that we Robert
LEE and Mary my wife, Joseph
DUDLEY and Susannah my wife, Edmund
LEE and Elizabeth my wife, John
LEE and Hannah my wife, Samuel
SPRAGUE and Elizabeth my wife, and
Nathaniel LEE all of the Parish of Saint
George in the County of Charlotte, and Province of
New Brunswick for and in Consideration of the sum
of seven pounds ten shillings paid (for two shares
of a lot of Land hereafter described) to me
Robert LEE and Mary my wife, to me
Samuel SPRAGUE and Elizabeth my wife
one Cow, to me Joseph DUDLEY and
Susannah my wife Five pounds, to me
Edmund LEE and Elizabeth my wife Five
pounds, to me John LEE and Hannah my
wife Five pounds & to me Nathaniel LEE
Five pounds lawful currency of the Province of New
Brunswick aforesaid the receipt whereof we do
hereby acknowledge Have granted, bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell
unto Joseph LEE, Yeoman, of the County and
Province aforesaid our respective shares of a tract
or Lot of Land formerly granted to Daniel LEE,
Senior and described as follows viz:

situated on the eastern side of the
Maguaguadavick River a short distance above the
Fredericton road, at the Testaquack river in the
Parish of Saint George, in the County of
Charlotte, in the Province of New Brunswick and
bounded as follows viz:
Beginning at a Pine tree on the east side of
the said river Testaquack at its mough, and from
thence running North fifty degrees east one
hundred and fifteen chains to a stake marked on
the western line of Lots surveyed for Militay
(sic) Settlers, thence north thirty degrees west
along the said line thirty chains, thence south
fifty degrees west one hundred and twenty two
chains to the said river Magaguadavic, thence
down stream along the bank of said river
crossing the mouth of Testaquack river aforesaid
to the place of beginning containing three
hundred acres more or less

together with all the rights privileges and
appurtenances thereto or thereunton appertaining.
To have and to Hold the said land and premises
aforesaid unto the said Joseph LEE. his
heirs and assigns and to his and their own proper
use and behoof forever. And we the said Robert
and Mary LEE, Samuel and Elizabeth SPRAGUE, Joseph
and Susannah DUDLEY, Edmund and Elizabeth LEE, John
and Hannah LEE and Nathaniel LEE for ourselves,
our heirs and assigns and administrators do truly
covenant with the said Joseph LEE his heirs
and assigns and that we have good right full power
and Lawful authority to grant bargain and sell the
premises aforesaid and will warrant and forever
defend the same against the legal claims of any
person or persons whatsoever

In witness whereof we have set our hands and seals
this nineteenth day of October in the year of our
Lord one thousand, Eight hundred and thirty.

Esquire the within named Robert LEE, Samuel
SPRAGUE & Rebeca SPRAGUE his Wife,
Joseph DUDLEY and Susan DUDLEY his
Wife, Edmond LEE, John LEE, Nathaniel LEE
and Thomas BALEY and Hannah BALEY his
Wife, who acknowledged that they signed and sealed
the annexed Deed freely and of their own accord for
purposes therein contained and Rebeca SPRAGUE
Susan DUDLEY and Hannah BALEY was
examined by me touching the said deed separately
and apart from their said husbands who acknowledged
that they signed and sealed the same freely and of
their own accord without fear or compulsion of
their said husbands. Moses
