Joseph Manuel SELVERA (#BUR143)

                          
                 

Birth Record:    Born circa 1715, unsure where.

Death Record:    Date unknown. However, he was still living in 1750,
                 in Burgos - according to the Census of that year. 

Life Facts:      His parents are unknown.

                 He was married twice. The first marriage was to
                 Maria Josepha Rodriguez de Caravajal.  She died before
                 August 1747.

                 His second marriage was to Maria Manuela de la Serna
                 (#BUR143) on 28 August 1747 in Guajuco. He had three
                 children from his first marriage. They are listed
                 as Joseph, aka Francisco,(#BUR140) born about 1736;
                 Maria Guadalupe(#BUR142) born in 1742 and baptized on
                 14 April 1742 (registered in Monterrey); and Joseph
                 Miguel(#BUR145) born in 1745, mestizo, baptized in 
                 Guajuco on 2 June 1745 and registered in Monterrey.
                 He probably died before 1749 as he does not appear 
                 with his parents in the census of 1750 in Burgos.

                 Maria Manuela also gave birth to a son of her own in
                 1749 - Joseph Martin(#BUR141).
