Maria Manuela de la SERNA (#BUR144)

Birth Record: Born circa 1715 , in Guajuco, N.L.

Death Record: Date unknown. However, she was still living in 1750,
in Burgos - according to the Census of that year.

Life Facts: Her parents were Nicolas de la Serna (no number as I am
unsure which one he is) and Maria Rosa de Ruiz de Leon.
She may be related to Alonso Ruiz de Leon (#2447) one of
                 the founders of Monterrey.

She was married to Joseph Manuel Selvera (#BUR143) on
28 August 1747 in Guajuco. Manuel had three children
from his first marriage. They are listed as Joseph (aka
Francisco) born about 1736; Maria Guadalupe born in 1742
and baptized 14 April 1742 (registered in Monterrey); and
Joseph Miguel born in 1745, mestizo, baptized in Guajuco
on 2 June 1745 and registered in Monterrey. He probably
died before 1749 as he does not appear with his parents
in the census of 1750 in Burgos.

Maria Manuela also gave birth to a son of her own in 1749
                 - Joseph Martin.
