Birth Record:    Born circa 1733 in unknown location.

Death Record:    Date unknown, but Jose was still living 1767.

Life Facts:      His parents are unknown.
 
                 He married Ana Maria Rivera (#cru178) circa 1749.
                 They had five children as of 03 February 1767.

                 Jose lived in Santander (Jimenez), Tam., prior to 
                 serving as a soldier in Burgos for five years.  He
                 then, apparently, relocated his family to Cruillas.

                 There is also a record of a "Jose Miguel Serna" who
                 is listed as a padrino in the San Fernando Church 
                 baptismal records of 1765.  However, I cannot be sure
                 that this is the same Jose Miguel Serna.
