Margarita de las CASAS (#1624)
Birth Record: Probably born in Monterrey circa 1650.
Death Record: Exact date unknown; but she died after 1703.
Life Facts: Her parents were Marcos de las Casas and Gertrudis
de la Vega. Marcos was the son Bernabe de las
Casas, one of the founders of Monterrey.
She married Capt. Nicolas de la Serna (#1620) on
30 September 1669. They had eight children.
She was widowed in March of 1693. In 1697 she was
granted a dispensation to marry "Alferez" Nicolas
de Ochoa. She remarried on 13 February 1697. I
know of no children from that union.
