Bartolome Jose de la SERNA Y ALARCON (#2389)

Birth Record: Born in Monterrey, Circa 1720's

Death Record: Date of death unknown. However, it is known that
Bartolme was still living in 1793.

Life Facts: His parents were "Alferez" Jose Antonio de la
Serna (#0846) and Antonia Francisca Villarreal
                 (#0847).

In some of the protocolos records he is referred
as a "comerciante" or business man. Other times
he is referred to as "mayordomo de la Cofradia de
Benditas Animas" which was probably some sort of
                 religious association or fraternity.

Apparently Bartolome married late in life. I don't
have an exact date when he married. However, by
1793 he was married to Maria Francisca Quintanilla
(#2389a). As of this date (Nov. 2002) I know of
two children born of this union. The names of these
offspring were Maria Francisca, and Juana Francisca.
