Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 12, 1989 at the Curran Baptist church for Lewis W. JACQUES, 79, of Curran, who died Dec. 10 at Tolfree Memorial Hospital in West Branch.

Mr. JACQUES was born Nov. 6, 1910 in Curran has lived there all of this life. He was a retired brick layer and was a member of the Curran Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Ida; a son, Norman JACQUES of Fenton; two sisters, Olive BUGG of Mio and Flora HEILIG of Curtisville; two brothers, Waldo ROTH of Oscoda and Warren ROTH; two grand-children and three great-grandchildren.

Pastor David DEE officiated at the services held at Curran Baptist Church and interment was in Curran Cemetery.
