Pfc Ned O. WIEDBRAUK son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. WIEDBRAUK of Curran was killed in action in France on March 15th, 1945 according to a telegram received by the parents from the War Department last Thursday.

Pfc WIEDBRAUK entered the service on December 2, 1942 and was a member of Company C, 410th Inf, 103rd Division with the 7th army.

Ned O. WIEDBRAUK was born in Curran 24 years ago and spend his entire life there until his induction into the army.

Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Cora DeJARLAIS and Nellie of Curran; one brother Floyd, who is a Staff Sargent somewhere in France.
