Obituaries
Obituaries play an important roll in our genealogical research. Sometimes the information
is reliable, sometimes not. It is important to remember that much like a death certificate,
the information is only as accurate as the person giving the information or writing the
obituary.
Some are poetic; others are straight to the point.
If you're lucky, your ancestor will
have had an obituary that will give you some insight on his or her personality and life
experiences.
And as we all have learned as we read many of the old obituaries,they just don't write 'em like they used to.
