WM. A. WIEDBRAUK Mr. WIEDBRAUK was a life-long resident of Curran. He was born on November 30, 1887, the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Henry WIEDBRAUK. He attended the Curran grade school. His marriage to Beatrice ADUSKY took place on November 16, 1937 in Alpena. They made their home in their farm near Curran. A Veteran of World War I, he enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 29, 1918 at Harrisville. He saw action in the St. Michael Drive in 1918 and on the Veraun front. He received his Honorable Discharge papers on February 25, 1919. He was an active member of the Curran Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow and one daughter, Beatrice Ann of Curran and two step-sons, Dennis ADUSKY and Miles ADUSKY of Detroit. There are two grand-children. Also surviving are Lewis, Joseph and Walter WIEDBRAUK of Curran; Mrs. Henry (Winnie) BEATON of Harrisville, Mrs. Lena LaFORGE of Oscoda, and Mrs. Tresa McFADDEN of Lacota, Michigan. Military funeral rites were held at the grave, with the Burt McCollach American Legion Post No. 476. Lincoln, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6466. Harrisville, participating. Services at the Curran Baptist Church were conducted by Rev. Adam CHYROWSKI. Six nephews served as pallbearers. Interment at Curran Cemetery. |
